UpToDate offers two levels of content for patients: The Basics are short overviews. They are written in accordance with plain language principles and answer the four or five most important questions a person might have about a medical problem.
Beyond the Basics are longer, more detailed reviews. They are best for readers who want detailed information and are comfortable with some medical terminology.
Handouts on adult, pediatric, and medication topics. Can be printed and customized for patients.
Search by condition or medication. Provides drug information about contraindications, interactions, side effects, and recommendations. Information available in both English and Spanish.
A point-of-care clinical information resource that is updated daily with evidence-based content. DynaMed provides Patient Education/Information on Overview and Condition pages under the sub-heading Patient Information.
The Patient Information section contains links and handouts, in English and Spanish, containing information on the condition, managing the condition, and medication/medical devices.

Learn about common mental disorders, including symptoms, risk factors and treatment options. Find answers to your questions written by leading psychiatrists, stories from people living with mental illness and links to additional resources.
SPIRAL: Selected Patient Information Resources in Asian Languages. Includes information in Cambodian (Khmer), Chinese, Hmong, Japanese, Korean, Laotian, Thai, and Vietnamese. Handouts and brochures can be printed, distributed, and displayed for free.
